Wall grazing is ideal for highlighting texture like brick or other architectural elements, and is accomplished by placing fixtures with narrow optics 12” or closer to the surface. Narrower beams create contrast of light and shadows, and allow the luminaires to push light higher up the wall–as much as 10-20’.
